About Akichi

I make things, moving between the computer and paper.

About this site

A place to keep records of experiments. Work in progress and fragments included.

  • Projects — Self-initiated projects
  • Notes — Writing, drawings, and more
  • Photos — Photos I’ve taken

The site’s mark is a small ship, and its anchor is a single notebook. The colors here come from a sunrise over the sea — and in dark mode, the sea at night.

A little more about me

I couldn’t attend high school, and left partway through. Later, with my parents’ support, I graduated in information engineering from a regional national university.

From there, I went to China to study. Once back, I worked as a software engineer in Japan, and later in China as well. These days, I work as an independent developer.

An interest in expression led me to Chinese and English.

Lately I’m drawn to observations from travel, organizing my thinking, and designing experiences.
